This class introduces shotgun owners, or those considering a first purchase, to building a foundation for safe handling and the fundamentals of shotgun shooting.  Classroom learning will include how a shotgun operates, features, loading/unloading, ammunition variables, and live fire training.

Ammunition REQ: 5 slugs, 5 buckshot, 25 birdshot

Age Restrictions: 21+ years of age

• If you do not have a shotgun, you can use one of ours. There will be a $20 cleaning fee + cost of ammunition.
• Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and/or baseball style hat.
• Because this class is a few hours long, we recommend that you bring some food/drink.
• Hearing and eye protection are required (we will have some extras, if needed).
• A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
