HANDGUN TRAINING FOR EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS
Our Advanced Handgun training builds off of our Defender Series of classes (or other intermediate classes you may have taken). This class is NOT for new or inexperienced shooters. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of defensive shooting in the context of a critical incident that could take place during a home invasion or in a public setting. Practical training includes target engagement at varying distances, multiple targets, unconventional shooting positions, movement, cover and concealment, reloads, and stoppages.

REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPATION
- Advanced training involves physical activity. You will be engaging targets from various shooting positions, such as standing, kneeling, and laying on your side. Participants will be standing for extended periods of time, walking at a brisk pace, jogging, squatting, leaning etc. You do not need to be an athlete or in peak physical condition, however, this class does involve movement and induced stress. If you have concerns or questions, please contact us.
- You must be proficient with your handgun. This not a learn-to-shoot class, you should already know how to do that.
- As mentioned above, a full-size or compact handgun is required for this training. Micro sizes are not recommended. Your firearm should be in good, serviceable, working condition and properly lubricated. Open sights or red dots are acceptable.
- Each participant should have a total of three (3) magazines and two (2) magazine carriers/pouches.
- A kydex or durable leather holster, worn outside of the waistband, is required. Your holster must have a covered trigger guard. Drop leg holsters are also acceptable. We do not allow Serpa style holsters or inside the waistband (IWB) holsters. (Please note that IWB can be used for our CCW classes.)

- Ammunition required is 200 rounds (fmj/ball). Reloads are not permitted.
PLEASE NOTE

- A baseball style brimmed hat should be worn to reduce sun glare and brass deflection.
- Please consider sustainment, such as hydration, food, etc.
