Due to the popularity and adaptability of the AR-15, it has become the “go to” for many as a primary defensive firearm.  The class builds off of the shooter’s knowledge of how the platform operates and takes off from there.  Starting with ballistic and penetration considerations, students will quickly learn how to effectively manipulate the firearm and target engagements in a defensive scenario.  Various drills will be performed in repetition to build proficiency and accuracy.

• Participants need to have knowledge of how to operate an AR-15 or carbine style rifle.

• If you do not have an AR-15, you can use one of ours. There will be a $20 cleaning fee + cost of ammunition.
• Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and/or baseball style hat.
• Because this class is a few hours long, we recommend that you bring some food/drink.
• Hearing and eye protection are required (we will have some extras, if needed).
• A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
