Welcome to the next level in your progression of training.  The Defender builds upon the fundamentals of shooting in the context of a defensive scenario in and outside of the home.  Participants will learn and perform skill building drills to improve proficiency and accuracy under stress.  Classroom learning and practical live fire training are introduced, as well as case studies, shoot/don’t shoot, ammunition considerations and ballistic effects, and drawing and firing from a holster.

• Participants need to have knowledge of how to operate a handgun.
• A sturdy belt and holster are required.  The holster must be a belt clip-, paddle-, or inside the waistband style holster.

• If you do not have a handgun, you can use one of ours. There will be a $20 cleaning fee + cost of ammunition.
• Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and/or baseball style hat.
• Because this class is a few hours long, we recommend that you bring some food/drink.
• Hearing and eye protection are required (we will have some extras, if needed).
• A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
