This class introduces handgun owners, or those considering a first purchase to building a foundation for safe handling and the fundamentals of shooting.  Classroom learning and practical, live fire training are introduced to students.  Some additional learning topics to be demonstrated: features, functions, operation, cleaning, disassembly/assembly, and ammunition selection, among others.

• If you do not have a handgun, you can use one of ours. There will be a $20 cleaning fee + cost of ammunition.
• Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and/or baseball style hat.
• Because this class is a few hours long, we recommend that you bring some food/drink.
• Hearing and eye protection are required (we will have some extras, if needed).
• A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
