Proficiency and Accuracy in High-Stress Scenarios
Without question, the shotgun has gained the respect of many, and rightly so. It is a formidable home defender. Students will learn about the advantages/disadvantages of various shot sizes, buckshot, and slugs. During live fire, students will perform drills from ready positions, loading/unloading, malfunctions and stoppages, and manipulation and target engagement at various distances.

PREREQUISITES
- Participants need to have knowledge of how to operate a shotgun.
PLEASE NOTE
- If you do not have a shotgun, you can use one of ours. There will be a $20 cleaning fee + cost of ammunition.
- Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and/or baseball style hat.
- Because this class is a few hours long, we recommend that you bring some food/drink.
- Hearing and eye protection are required (we will have some extras, if needed).
- A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
